Waterski, wakeboard, kneeboard

Waterski is a sport for everyone and easy to learn. Mono-ski is the advanced form of waterskiing. At Plaka-Watersports waterski, monoski and barefoot are your options. Early in the morning and late in the afternoon, the sea is calm and gives water-skiers perfect conditions, even on windy days.

If you are no expert or an accomplished skier, though, don't worry! Age, weight and body structure pose no limitation, everybody can learn to waterski and with even one lesson you will be able to experience what it feels like to be waterskiing.

Lessons are held by officially trained and qualified instructors, using specialized equipment for beginners and extra care for young children.

Our equipment covers a big range in types and sizes, but if you wish, you are welcome to bring your οwn.

In the past years, wakeboarding has become a large scene with new tricks evolving and new athletes joining the sport. Plaka Watersports offers lessons and gives advanced riders the opportunity to show their skill. Beginners will experience the meaning of wakeboarding even after a short practice period and will feel comfortable enough to carve through the water, slalom on the waves and even try to do their first jumps.

If you are an advanced rider, feel free to jump, do 180’s and 360’s, Raleys, Rolls and Butter slides! The boat will give you enough wake to pop and get some air.

If you never heard these terms before, but you really want to know, we will be there to teach you. Absolute beginners, intermediate, or expert wake boarders, you can all have an awesome time at Plaka Watersports.

Kneeboard is a real challenge, but once you get it right, its great fun and an unforgettable experience. There is nothing else like gliding with such speed so close to the water. The direct contact with the surface of the sea creates an amazing sensation.
